[SOLVED] What file does the "nvidia" pkg create to blacklist nouveau?

Hi all,

Looking at the NVIDIA Wiki, I see it states that the installation will create a file that blacklists nouveau. Does anyone know what file this is?

My first instinct was to look at /etc/modprobe.d/. but that directory is empty.

Thanks.

/usr/lib/modprobe.d/nvidia.conf

have a look at:

pacman -Qql nvidia

Many thanks for the help! I was reading through the pacman wiki just now in case I missed a query trick, and the lightbulb in my head appeared xD

Good to have my search validated by another. smile

The older proprietary driver 173.14.31 does this:
file:
/etc/modprobe.d/nvidia-installer-disable-nouveau.conf
content:
# generated by nvidia-installer
blacklist nouveau
options nouveau modeset=0
