Flash with Intel 945 makes cpu get high values

Good evening,
When I am watching one video in youtube, my cpu gets at 100% usage.
I have an Intel 945 graphic card and some years ago this didn't happened. Anyone with that card have the same issue? And is there any workaround for that?

With that card, Flash will do everything in software (well, except scaling to fullscreen), so what processor you have would be more valuable info. If it's something old (like pentium 4), what you're seeing is perfectly normal. And about "some years ago"... then youtube used a different format for video.

Same Flash version? Same browser? IE uses a different plugin (ActiveX as opposed to NPAPI). Also, same CPU governor? Windows could have the CPU at it's highest freq, while Linux could use the ondemand governor. Also, how exactly are you measuring CPU usage in both operating systems. Basically, there's too many variables, and you've provided too little info to make it possible to figure something out. I can only say that on my Atom, playing a standard youtube video, Firefox's plugin-container process uses 100% of one core.

Then there's the general thing: Flash is simply... Flash. Trying to figure it out is an exercise in futility.

Re: Flash with Intel 945 makes cpu get high values

Yes, same flash version (using google chrome last version built in flash). CPU governor haven't checked, but without changing it the frequency would be the highest?
I'm measuring CPU usage with top (don't exactly know if it measures for one core or for all). I Windows I use task manager
Yes, I know that flash is what it is, but my "problem" is just that difference between the two system (talking about the cpu usage)
