aumix not saving settings

Does any of you have the problem, that aumix does not save settings between reboot, even though .aumixrc is created? By chance anyone know how to fix this?

I added a line to /etc/rc.local

aumix -w 50 -v 85 -c 50

w is pcm volume
v is main volume
v is cd volume

For other settings check the manpage.

There is probably a better solution.
