Hi,
I installed Arch Linux this week and followed some guidlines from
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NetworkManager
The section "Use OpenDNS Servers" suggests to create a script
/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/dns-servers-opendns
For me with latest updates this caused spawning huge no of processes on network disconnection
root 30541 30540 0 22:55 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/dns-servers-opendns wlan0 down
root 30542 30541 0 22:55 ? 00:00:00 /bin/sh /etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d/dns-servers-opendns wlan0 down
......
I am using KDE. This causes desktop freeze for half a min with ram usage spike and eventually goes back to normal.
Removing the file fixed and adding it back caused it again.
Just fyi.Perhaps the wiki needs to be altered or its a bug.
Thanks
