Still a work in progress. I want to thank you guys, I've borrowed here and there from your configs, plus some widgets are my own implementation.
Nice colors scheme! Could share it please?

Thanks! Perhaps it's convenient if you would link to your Github from your signature

Sure thing. I used the BlingBling widget sets which you can see and kinda modified the code to my liking in some places in the rc.lua. Most of the stuff in the blingbling confs was pretty standard though and I didn't have to touch it. The MPD widget is awesomepd.
Here it is:

end

Hi men, i've have a problem with pacman widget..sorry if i ask here but i think that the problem is so stupid that it's foolish to open a thread apart...anyway, in my pacman.conf i ignored 3 packages and so the widgets always show 3 available upgrades...is there a way to show 0 instead of 3? Maybe messing with wc. cut and sed commands...
Meanwhile i show you my new stop wibox...i've integrated menu and prompts (run and run in terminal):
Double click + View Image to see full size...
thats an urxvt right ? can you share your .Xresources please !?

Slight update, changed the main font and wallpaper and added some details. I had to draw all the icons, as I'm using the font to display them.

One quick question, is it possible to add space between 'windows' in tiling mode? If possible, how?
Edit : nvm, found it here : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=136176

How to setup horizontal widgets on a vertical wibox?
Left or right placement of the wibox is cool, but vertical text is hard to read. At the moment, in awesome v3.4, it is tricky to get a perfect result, but in the development branch of awesome the widget layouts have already been rewritten with this in mind. This code allows to easily setup complex vertical panels, like some desktop environments provide.

Looking forward to that, running on a netbook with 600 pixels of height I could really take advantage of vertical panels.

@analog. It is funny you should post this because I was just debating whether I needed the tasklist to begin with.

Pretty new to Awesome, so not many deviations from default, but I have big plans...

In the interest of full disclosure this machine is running Ubuntu Sadly, it's my work machine and the powers that be decided that they'd rather I didn't run a rolling release distro on my development environment. However the config is shared with my Arch box at home.
Full config is here:
