I used to be able to bring up my consoles by <Ctrl-Alt-FN#> in other window managers, but I can't seem to get it to work in fluxbox.
Is there another key combination that I should try? I've tried <ALT-FN#> that just switches to another graphical workspace and not to the text console either.
I wasn't sure if it was another key combination in fluxbox or if there may be some key mapping that might be stopping it?
Thank you for any help!

The normal Ctrl+Alt+F# works for me when using fluxbox-svn from dibbles repo.

I'm running fluxbox 0.9.13-4 from extra. I wonder what the difference between the two are?
Just out of curiousity, my keys file is:
Mod1 Tab :NextWindow
Mod1 Shift Tab :PrevWindow
Mod1 F1 :Workspace 1
Mod1 F2 :Workspace 2
Mod1 F3 :Workspace 3
Mod1 F4 :Workspace 4
Mod1 F5 :Workspace 5
Mod1 F6 :Workspace 6
Mod1 F7 :Workspace 7
Mod1 F8 :Workspace 8
Mod1 F9 :Workspace 9
Mod1 F10 :Workspace 10
Mod1 F11 :Workspace 11
Mod1 F12 :Workspace 12
Does yours from dibbles look the same?
Thanks!

I use the one from extra (is there anything worth playing with in the SVN repo?) and I can access the other vt's fine. I haven't touched ~/.fluxbox/keys so that's probably not your problem.

agilyben, that's a barebones keys file.
Here's a fluxbox dotfiles link where you can find some example keys files along with some other configs that you might find helpful:

I am using 0.9.13 (fluxbox-devel) and switching between consoles work fine.

I'm not sure what could be the problem. I tried fluxbox_svn also, and it does the same. I can't change to a text console from the X desktop. Alt-FN# works (to change between X desktops) but Ctrl-Alt-FN# does nothing.
