Hi, I have Canon PIXMA MX350 wireless printer. I've installed it on windows without any fuss. Just downloaded drivers and selected wireless printing.
There's no drivers for linux on the official page, but this printer is supported in guttenprint package. I've tried to configure printer via CUPS but it's not automatically detected. Printer is not visible in my router so I can't read his IP (and this is weird because every single device connected there is listed and remembered even though it's offline).
Does anyone have any idea on how to configure wireless printers because I've found very little information on the web.

I discovered I had to start the avahi daemon for discovering wireless printers. Add avahi-daemon to the DAEMONS line of /etc/rc.conf
You can get the official Canon linux drivers for your printer from the following link.

Thanks, I will check this right now and report if it works. Much appreciated!

Ok, enabling avahi daemon definetely enables me to recognize my printer and install it. I first tried with gutenprint (guttenprint docs say I should use mx340 ppd), but when I tried printing job is sent to cups and then moved to completed jobs with user status "withheld".
I tried using the ppd from the webpage you've gave me, but got an error saying I need printer filter "pstocanonij". So than I've dug up that file from canons website as well but same problem happens as with guttenprint.
Any ideas?

I've run into the missing pstocanonij file before. Didn't have that problem with Arch though AFAICR.

Try using rpmextract as in the post below (from the 3rd link I posted above) to get all the files.

Yes, I already have. That's how I got that filter and original driver. But it doesn't print anything. There was an update to cups right now, so I'll cross my fingers and check if it works.

If it doesn't print, check the cups error messages as I showed how to get in the Tips link on my first post (2nd link).
