[SOLVED]Cups printing to Brother Printer is slow

After recent upgrade to cups-1.5.3-3/cups-filters printing to all my Brother printers (BR-Script3 driver) is **extremely** slow > 10min for 1k file.  Downgrading back to cups-1.5.3-1 (no cups-filters) got me back going.

Any suggestions???  Upstream problem??

Could not print from Firefox at all.

Downgraded to cups-1.5.3-1/poppler-0.18.4/poppler-glib-0.18.4 and can now print.  Hopefully this will get worked out...
