[Solved] Wine build - -lfreetype... not found

Spoken as
configure: error: FreeType development files not found. Fonts will not be built.
Use the --without-freetype option if you really want this.

I did read that arch is suppose to have it in itself. and that it should be possible to build by abs.
I use abs.
I also have specific CFLAGS, that should not be the cause. (?)

Re: [Solved] Wine build - -lfreetype... not found

did you make changes to the Wine PKGBUILD ?
if so, try building without any changes first.

If you used the abs wine PKGBUILD without changing anything and you still get his error , please post the complete output of makepkg.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Solved, I did it again to get the output but it worked. I suspect there was not enought free space, but it would tell me about it. Also I noticed, it is not possible to use upx for building wine.
