Problems Running LOTRO

I had LOTRO running well for a long time.  Then I stopped playing for a while to play Skyrim.  However, when I attempt to play now, Pylotro gives me this error:

Argument 'Online/client_local_English' unknown

When I try to patch I get this error:

Unrecognized argument 'home/convergence/.wine-lotro/drive_c/Program'

This is all very similar to something I've found here:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php? … 0&page=193

However, this thread is very old (I had never even started playing lotro at that time) so it is possibly a separate but similar issue, and it doesn't give a solution anyway.  The guy just says that he updated wine, and ubuntu, and everything just started to work again.

I think that the problem is that the directory where LOTRO is stored is an argument in a command.  The fact that this argument contains spaces causes wine, or pylotro, or for all I know Bash to think that the argument has ended.  Has anyone else had/solved this issue?

Thanks.
