Official Kernel Question

Hi GUYS,
Got a question about the official kernel

I've been tired re-compiling customized kernel each time whenever the new version releases.
"MAKE menuconfig" is available after got linux-headers onboard
Is that possible to modify the official kernel config through /usr/src/linux-x.x.x-ARCH (official kernel), and the kernel could be updated automatically whenever the update needed?

Thanks graysky, I am using ABS way, but if the official one could be modified, the kernel can be updated automatically.

I see... I don't know about the official one, but it would mean that pacman is out of the loop.  Pacman is at the core of Arch Linux so that doesn't appeal to me   Maybe someone else can help you.

If you won't compile your config, how would it be 'automatically' done? Your question isn't really very clear.

There is no way of recompiling any package automatically when the repo version is updated. pacman hooks may make this possible at some point in the future, if/when they are implemented.
