Hi,
I tried ubuntu and I was suprised it was able to connect to a wireless network quickly than archlinux. On arch, I have to wait 20s after suspend to use internet, it's 5-10s on ubuntu. I used network-manager in both case.
Why this difference and is it possible to modify something in arch to make this faster?

I changed to wicd https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Wicd and the difference was amazing. My network was taking forever to load on both my laptop and one of my desktop boxes.

You have to disable IPv6 in network manager for every wireless connection. It makes connection faster.
