Hi,
I'm having some issues with Mozilla Firefox 13 after upgrading with pacman from v12.
When I restart my computer, and open FireFox again, I'm getting the first run screen, and all my bookmarks are gone. (Back to default-settings)
Sometimes this is not the case, and the first run screen is not visible. Also my bookmarks are back available.
I'm using the following add-ons: WOT & ghostery
I also use Profile-sync-daemon to copy the Firefox profile into the memory (SSD).
I have already tried removing FireFox completely (with user folders, etc.) but that hasn't fixed the problem.
Does someone also having the same issue? Is this a bug or could it just be something like profile-sync-daemon/wrong addon(s)?
Thanks!

If you try disabling them one by one, you might locate the cause through elimination...

You should always stop psd before upgrading firefox. I always forget too.
Stop psd and firefox and cp .mozilla-backup to .mozilla. Start psd then firefox.

I use psd as well and have experienced no issues on upgrade. Good advice is to stop psd first (which restores your profile state) and then load firefox. Does it behave normally? If so close firefox, start psd and repeat.
Just FYI, I doubt your problem is due to psd since it only symlinks the dirs and makes sure they are updated via rsync.

...one of the reasons I switched to chromium as my primary browser. The wife uses ff though. I would suggest backing up your bookmarks and creating a new profile. You can import the bookmarks into the new profile. See if that fixes it. Stop psd before you make a new profile just to minimize variables.
Invoke firefox with the -P switch to manage profiles.
