I'm getting the following error message when I run
pacman -S emacs:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/emacs-24.1-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (checksum)).
Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] y
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package (checksum))
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.has anyone else experienced this?
UPDATE: changing the mirror did the trick

Yes, I've seen the same problem. Specifically, when I attempt a pacman -Syu, I get
(26/26) checking package integrity
...
error: emacs: signature from "Jürgen Hötzel <juergen@hoetzel.info>" is invalid
error: failed to commit transaction (invalid or corrupted package)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.

It worked fine for me. Which mirror are you using?

I'm seeing the same issue, with ftp://mirrors.kernel.org/. Tried reinitializing the Pacman GPG database just in case; no dice.

I got it from http://mirror.de.leaseweb.net (courtesy of Reflector). Maybe you can try a different mirror?

Did you try to clear your pacman cache and try again? (pacman -Scc)
The upgrade worked fine for me, using mirror ftp://mirror.nl.leaseweb.net/archlinux/$repo/os/$arch.

Clearing the cache didn't do it, but mirror.nl.leaseweb.net did. Looks like mirror.kernel.org may have a bad copy or something. Thanks.

Hm, should the people at mirror.kernel.org be notified in some way?
