I have tried a long time to get my wireless broadcom bcm4318 to work, but it doesn't work. I have looked in the wiki, but it didnt help.
My PC is a HP nc6220 laptop
output of 'lspci | grep Network':
02:04.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g] 802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
rc.conf: http://pastebin.com/3kuyZmVi
I have nothing in my blacklist file.
I have also installed these two packages:
b43-firmware 5.100.138-2
b43-fwcutter 015-1
Thanks!

Hi.
I was using that wifi card before...
check if your wireless is seen by system (in termianal write "iwconfig" show output here) than try to load modules "modprobe b43" and check iwconfig again, than show what kernel is telling us "dmesg"
after that we should know what's the problem

iwconfig:
wlan0 IEEE 802.11bg ESSID:off/any
Mode:Managed Access Point: Not-Associated Tx-Power=off
Retry long limit:7 RTS thr:off Fragment thr:off
Power Management:off
then i loaded b43
then output of dmesg: http://pastebin.com/LXK8KwjW
I see that dmesg, tells me to push the wifi button but it doesnt work..

I downloaded ipw2200-fw, and autoloaded the module on startup, and then added this to my /etc/modprobe.d/whatever.conf
options ipw2200 led=1
It works now!
