pacman is dying =(

Alright, I've been playing around with this for a while, I'm at my wits end.

[root@thebeast files]# pacman -S cdw

Targets: curl-7.14.0-1 vorbis-tools-1.0.1-5 mysql-4.1.14-1 cdw-0.2.3-3

Total Package Size: 11.6 MB

Just started this morning, everytime I try and do anything w/ extra, I get anon login failed errors. And its been getting worse, producing more and more errors as I'm trying to fix it.

:: Retrieving packages from extra...checking package integrity... done.
loading package data... load_pkg: missing package name in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/neon-0.24.7-1.pkg.tar.gz.

Among any number of packages. I've tried playing around w/ the wget in /etc/pacman.conf, but to no avail.
Where do I start? What do I do?

thanks

Re: pacman is dying =(

delete the package errors packages in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/ and change your mirrors by moving them up on the list in /etc/pacman.d/extra
