transparent_hugepage=never: Is it recommended on RT kernel?

Hi.

I'm just curious because I read about adding transparent_hugepage=never to the kernel line at boot on AV Linux's manual. Does this work favorably too on Arch's kernels, specially on the linux-rt form AUR?

What's your reasoning behind wanting to do that? Are you experiencing any issues that you think could be related to transparent hugepages being enabled?

No, just a little curious about that feauture.  My Arch instalaltion is working great with the libnux-rt kernel.  It's just that I saw that option recommended on AV Linux's documentation and was wondering if it could improve things further on Arch.
