[SOLVED] Skype "Problem with Audio Playback" when playing music

Hello,

I've problems running Skype when listening to music: whenever I listen to music in audacious or vlc player I'm not able to use Skype, I get a "Problem with Audio Playback" error calling the echo / sound test device.

Strangely enough when playing music, the correct audio device "HDA Intel, CONEXANT Analog Default Device" doesn't get displayed in the Sound Devices sections of the options dialog. After shutting down audacious, the device gets redisplayed again and I can call my contacts.

I use a Lenovo Thinkpad T400.

Any hints?

sudo pacman -S lib32-libpulse lib32-alsa-plugins lib32-libpulse
