Upgrading to udev 068

Hi,

i have udev 060-5. I know something about some conf files who have been unified. Is there anyone who upgraded from 060 to udev 068 who can share light ??

Thank you,

Re: Upgrading to udev 068

If you use only default rules (without your own ones), you should have no problems upgrading, as the devs took care of the default config files. However, if you have some of your own rules set, you'd probably need to tweak them a bit, but can't precisely tell you how, never played with that ;-)

No, I don't use any default rules, what about the matter of the unified files ?

Re: Upgrading to udev 068

All sits in one file now, instead of two. It's the only, quite minor, change since the older udev releases (aside from some minor syntax changes, IIRC).

Just install and check it for yourself, shouldn't cause you any problems ;-)
