Release name for Arch

I noticed in the newsletter a comment about needing a release name for 0.8. I thought maybe we could use a name with the letters aur in it since one of the major developments was the aur. I did a search for all words with aur in it here:

What about aurora?

Any other suggestions?

Okay I've been trying to be entirely linux ( at least for dev & work ) for a long time, Arch has finally given me what I want ( the right mix of hacking, with predefined stuff that works ).

So, Arch is an "arch".

How about "keystone". The base install ISO is the "keystone" that hold the Arch up!

i doubt that there will be a 1.0 release. because of the rolling-release system, there will rather be a 0.10 release instead.

I didn't pick it because I thought it was original. I just liked how the first three letters were aur. "Tundra" is not that original either. It is the release name for a truck made by Toyota

ten to one the devs will never read this thread anyway... I remember when wombat was released, there was a huge discussion like this and then all of a sudden we heard poof, it was going to be called wombat. Nobody every mentioned wombats...

if you want original then go with raccoon. i have never heard of anyone using that for any kind of project.
