yaourt and packer always telling me "one or more packages did not pass

Ive been using Arch for a few years now. Yaourt nor Packer have ever really failed me to this extent. most EVERY package I try to install lately with yaourt or packer fails. I constantly get the below error. Even when I download the package, get the md5sum manually and place it into the proper spot in the pkgbuild I STILL get the error. Im extremely confused and need some help. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

You could always skip  Validating part with

makepkg -i  --skipinteg

Perhaps stating the obvious, but when you manually download the package and then run md5sum <package>, is the integrity of the package actually fine?

Re: yaourt and packer always telling me "one or more packages did not pass

If the md5sum of the package I download matches the md5sum of the one inside the pkgbuild should I still receive the error? Id understand if its just one or two packages, but its pretty much EVERY one. Even the recent yaourt update. Cant update it because the file fails validity check. something else is going on thats beyond me

It shouldn't happen then.

Do you get the same error when you build a pacakge by hand with makepkg ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
