Strange package error

While loading a package I was working on I get the following error

Pathname can't be converted from UTF-8 to current locale

As I cannot find anything on google or arch wiki I am stumped as to what the problem is

I know it is telling me what is wrong I just need to figure out how to fix it?

Re: Strange package error

If you created your own package, then you should have the pkg dir. Have a look in there to find what file/path has a non-ASCII name. I guess using an UTF-8 locale should also make things work (but you probably don't want to assume this).

Re: Strange package error

Did check using file -bi * to see if any utf-8 names showed up, but guess I need to examine more closely.

Thanks smile
