My laptop is Dell Vostro 3555 with ATI graphic card.
When I wake up my laptop everything seems to be ok, hdd and sound works fine.
Only internal monitor is off. When I connect external monitor (cloned display) it works also fine.
I have tried many solutions e.g. "xset -display :0.0 dpms force on" but no results.
How can I force the monitor to turn on? Is it about backlight or driver issue?

Try running suspend with: "sudo pm-suspend --quirk-dpms-on"

It doesn't work, my monitor is still off.
I don't get it. When I type "xset dpms force off" my laptop screen also goes down but when I move mouse it goes up.
