Bluray: plextor drive burning selective discs

Hi,

My plextor PX-LB950SA is able to perfectly burn some BD-RE discs (don't have the type right now). But it wont take some panasonic BD-R (LM-BR24MWE5).

Specs of the BD-R:
1-6x speed
25GB single sided
version1.3*

* Someone can tell me something about Bluray disc versions? Perhaps the drive can only write '1.0' discs and the discs are '1.3'?

BTW: System who's burning is an opensuse desktop. But AFAIK that shouldn't matter, right? If you guys think it could, I can start Arch or Ubuntu with live CD/USB on the machine...
