Hello!
I have a problem with postfix. It send mail perfeclty, and receives mail locally but when I try to send mail from another serwer the message does not reach destination nor there is any failure notification. I am not an advanced admin, it is almost the most default configuration of postfix from package.
Thanks in advance,
mdv

Are you trying to have that other server relay mail through your server, out to the internet at large?
Or are you just trying to have that other server send mail to the mail server in question?

I don't think so. I need to do it on my server or contact the network administrator? My server is a host in an university's network.

yeah. contact the network admin. Tell him you want to recieve mail on your server. If he doesnt punch you in the face, your in business. He should be able to setup the routing and the mx record for you.
Buy him cookies if he does.
