I'm trying to install Folding@Home on my 64-bit system. I downloaded the x86_64 package for Folding@Home from the AUR, ran makepkg -s, and now I'm trying to install the package with
sudo pacman -U foldingathome-smp-6.34-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
However, I get an error: "error: 'foldingathome-smp-6.34-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz': invalid or corrupted package (PGP signature)" Since I set up pacman's package signing using the instructions in the wiki, I followed this thread and changed the global trust setting to SigLevel = Optional TrustedOnly and my repository settings to this:
#[testing]
SigLevel = PackageRequired
#Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
[core]
SigLevel = PackageRequired
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
[extra]
SigLevel = PackageRequired
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
#[community-testing]
#SigLevel = PackageRequired
#Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
[community]
SigLevel = PackageRequired
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
# If you want to run 32 bit applications on your x86_64 system,
# enable the multilib repositories as required here.
#[multilib-testing]
#SigLevel = PackageRequired
#Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
[multilib]
#SigLevel = PackageOptional
SigLevel = PackageRequired
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
How can I get this software installed?

There is a more radical level. But I've never used that. I don't know if it is the problem.

Are you suggesting that as a permanent solution, or rather I disable all signature checking temporarily, install the package, and change the setting back?

Temporarily.

You can also sign your own key...

Well I stumbled upon this now.
Until recently I have been able to self-sign my package using `makepkg --sign` and having my public key registered in pacman-key. My signature expired yesterday but I have refreshed it without changing the password or other modifications, and now pacman refuses to accept my AUR build.
Should I create a new key instead of just changing the password or refreshing the expiry date?

Please don't necrobump: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fo … Bumping.27
Create a new thread with a more appropriate title (and optionally link back here).
