[solved] system freeze completly, how debug what is the problem

Hi,
my computer has always had this problem, also with windows (it can't run for more than 1 hour). I was using an arch32bit on a 64bit system, and it almost never had the problem, like 1 time at week, and rebooting X was almost always possible.
I have an arch 64bit on a phenom II, m4a78 motherboard, geforce 9600GT and an old sounblaster, because the motherboard's integrated has failed (about 1 year ago)

about one weeks ago the HHD failed, and i've change it installing a arch 64bit, also run a SMART test on this drive and it seems ok.

normally it work flawless, play wine, flash, kwin and so on, just sometimes (very rarely) x reboot, and often (about 1 time every day, about 5/10 hour of use) it just freeze.

no special key works (like ctrl-alt-F1/2/3 etc..), neither the led on keyboard (bloc-num, maiusc, block-scorr).
the image on the monitor remain the same, and the audio still play in loop ~1 second of the music.

it can freeze while i play, while i surf the internet, or while i leave the PC on doing nothing.

I don't know where to start..

last a mem-test on CPU and ram is old of about 1year, but i was still having problem. I think they come maybe from motherbard (if the audio system is broken, maybe also something else), or maybe from the video card, because I've never crashed on pure-console mode (but i've used it almost never, just for installation)

so, where i can find better log, and who can help me to understand them?

To me, this sounds like textbook overheating. That many things should not fail in such a short period of time.

The log seems quite clear: there is a problem with the nvidia driver. If you don't want to use the open-source driver, you could try if it also happens with an older kernel (linux-lts).

@Terminator: yes, the hdd probably has fail because temp overheating because it failed just the first week of hot days of summer! but i've bought a new 130 CFM fan, so i should be okay

uhhh the problem is still here, even with the opensorce driver... but at least it has write something before die. i've screen shot of the error (and when i say screen shot, i mean photo of the screen, at least they are HD)
someone know how to read them, or where i can find someone that does? (photo should be public, report eventual problem i'll try to fix)
