Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Re: AUR down?

This is always the first place to look.  There are myriad reasons why a person might be unable to access a website, and unless one of those reasons exists on the machine in front of you right now, there's nothing anyone here can do about it.  These sorts of threads just eat up time, bandwidth and storage space.

Re: AUR down?

I was right. Nothing to do with my machine or my friend's.

When I pinged or traced https://aur.archlinux.org/ I wasn't able to complete the transmission and now, after approx 20 - 24 hours I was able to get through.

It is fine for now.

Re: AUR down?

Same problem here: AUR is only available over HTTP. (I'm in Hungary, by the way.) It used to work fine, but nowadays all I get for https://aur.archlinux.org is Firefox telling me “The connection to aur.archlinux.org was interrupted while the page was loading.” Chromium gave me an “Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protocol error.” message. It does not work in Links either.

Any ideas what could be wrong?
