Decrypt home partition from usb stick during boot

Hello

I have a home folder that is encrypted via dm_crypt, I want it to be decrypted during boot from a usb-stick. The thing is that crypttab goes before fstab, so I cant put the usb stick in fstab and then point to it in crypttab.
So whats the best alternative here? Could I perhaps make something in grub (as when you have a encrypted root during boot).

Re: Decrypt home partition from usb stick during boot

Sorry to reopen this old post,  but could you share how? I can't find it. I tried putting  /dev/sd*1/key and /dev/sdc1/key in /etc/crypttab. Both didn't work.
