kernel26-2.6.13-archck1-1

Holy freaking crap this kernel rocks!!! Absolutely ridiculously fast.  It feels like my computer is on amphetamines or something.

(BTW, Dibble, archck3 for kernel2.6.13 is out... big_smile )

I had acpi problems with it, actually - seems I would randomly lose thermal info, and the battery levels would "stall" (i.e. it would hang at a random place... last night it listed "charged 64%" for a few hours)

Yep - I've rolled my own 2.6.13-archck3.1, and it's going great. No problems with acpi, phrak, but that's mainly because this ancient laptop prefers apm.....

I tried bulding it and got an error which I have reported - so i guess we will have to wait a bit longer smile

It's an awesome patchset, and as you all have probably noticed (if you like to stare at people's signatures for some odd reason tongue), I switched from Love Sources (which was dying anyway) over to ArchCK. My computer runs faster and smoother than ever. Praise the almighty Iphitus!
