Bluetooth: send file from phone to laptop results in a kernel OOPS

Whenever I try to send some files from my smartphone to my laptop the laptop crashes with a kernel panic so bad that even ctrl+alt+del does not work and caps lock is not even flashing. Example error image:

Anyone have a similar problem?

Specs: HP Pavilion DM1-4000sd
Bluetooth chipset: not sure, will look up later

Re: Bluetooth: send file from phone to laptop results in a kernel OOPS

It seems this happens because the gnome notification daemon crashed and without a notification daemon blueman-applet partially opens the connection but the kernel fails to properly free it. I installed notify-osd from aur, which doesn't require a daemon and now it runs fine.
