[SOLVED] Updated but now getting no eth0

Hi all,

Updated my virtual machine to the latest release but now I no longer have eth0.

Starting Network [BUSY]
Error: unknown interface in /etc/rc.conf: 'eth0'

Not sure where to look now.  I can't remember the command that's replaced ifconfig either.  Good job this is the newbie corner I guess!

Cheers beforehand.

I just see a 'lo' and nothing else.
'ip r' doesn't seem to do anything.

The hypervisor is VMware ESXi 5 if that helps.  I did notice the latest updated had an updated open-vm-tools component.  Related maybe?

I can't copy and paste from the console window sorry sad

*Edit*

Fixed this, although not properly.  For some reason the interface just disappeared.  I removed the Flexible NIC and replaced it with an E1000.
This also happened to my other virtual Arch box too so it wasn't just a one off.
