lshwd bug?

hi, everyone

the hotplug wastes too many times on hardware detect, so I decide to use hwd. The lshwd tell me that I shoude use i810_audio,

00:1f.5 Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corp.|ICH2 810 Chipset AC'97 Audio Controller (i810_audio)

But hotplug says that I should use snd_intel8x0. I think snd_intel8x0 is right . So is it a bug in lshwd?

It's a misuse of the term "bug" - it's not a bug, it just means hwd does not have the proper data for your hardware.  Feel free to send the devs yours lspci/lshwd output along with what the module should be

Re: lshwd bug?

As what phrakture said, its not a bug but the pcitable is not updated. Please, post the result  of "hwd -id" in the below url and I will enter the information. I let you know once updated, then run "hwd -u".
http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=11241

PS.
hwd and lshwd use the same pcitable. The detect engine of hwd is lshwd.
