I have so far put about 4 or 5 arch box's into production at my company. I am now facing a updateing issue that is growing every few months. What I am looking for, is a web based patching application that will utilize the pacman application to updated box's. Maybe something that will list packages available for each box and will issue the update command for all box's or on a per box basis upon what packages I select to update or all available packages for that matter. I can pay pal over some working cash if this is nessary. If arch packages such a utility I think it will become widely used by the arch community and may entise many buisnesses to move into the arch enviroment.

Heya,
there are some frameworks to centrally manage servers (like cfengine). Mayeb this can help you?

I was thinking of creating a similar application some time ago, but I thought it best to wait for libpacman before moving along with it.

I wait for nothing!!!
I just endeavor to make the client side daemon loosely coupled enough that a few internal modifications will effect nothing.
