Installed blender with Pacman and when I run it from the terminal I get:
AL lib: UpdateDeviceParams: Failed to set 44100hz, got 48000hz instead
intel_do_flush_locked failed: Invalid argument
This is an Arch x86_64 install with Intel HD graphics 3000 (I disabled my Radeon with acpi_call).
Any help appreciated!

Also, I'm currently running the sna driver, however in Pacman every time I attempt a full system upgrade I get:
:: Replace xf86-video-intel-sna with extra/xf86-video-intel? [Y/n]
I'm not sure why it would do this, but since the error while attempting to start Blender has something to do with Intel, could this relate to that? Should I say yes to this message (I've denied it every time so far).

I think so, yes.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Intel
The history page says it was updated roughly two days ago with the xf86-video-intel merger.
By the way, to me, "44100hz" and "48000hz" sounds more like an audio problem.
I have made a personal commitment not to reply in topics that start with a lowercase letter. Proper grammar and punctuation is a sign of respect, and if you do not show any, you will NOT receive any help (at least not from me).

Who would have thought? Updating the driver (and /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf) fixed it!
