HP 6510b hangs while starting Arch

My laptop (HP 6510b, no hardware modifications) sometimes hangs while booting.
It happens while changing resolution (from VGA to native). I end up with not responding black screen (however alt+ctrl+delete works just fine )

Because it's right after processing udev, I've tried to change something in bios (disable the card reader, bluetooth etc), but it didn't help.

The hangs are very random. Everything might be OK for a week, but sometimes I have to reboot few times.

Reinstalling Arch didn't help either, so this should be a hardware or driver problem.

Did anyone have similar problems? Any ideas?
