Multi IR-Receiver; Kernel gets confused; Me too and u?

Hi,

I'm wondering if this is a bug. I have two USB-DVB Devices connected to my system, running Linux kernel 3.4.6-1-ARCH.
* DVB-S: Terratec Cinergy S2 USB HD --> dw2102 FW ds3000_firmware
* DVB-T: Pinnacle PCTV 73e --> dib0700

Both of them have an IR-Receiver included and both are registered. The events for them are created in /dev/input. If I remove any of them two the input event gets unregistered and is registered again at re-plugin.  OK, until here everything works like expected...

Now, I will come to the strange thing...

If I do a cat on the event for the Pinnacle PCTV 73e IR Receiver and test my remote control, I got output like expected.
If I do the cat on the Terratec Cinergy S2 USB HD and point directly on it nothing happens, but if I now point on the other device I got scrambled output.

From my point it seems that the Input Subsystem gots confused, because it takes input from the wrong device.
One other thing is that, if I plugin the Terratec device only I'll get the input event but it seems not working. If I plugin the Pinnacle device now, the new input event would be created. OK, but once again both input events would listen on the Pinnacle IR...

I hope my explanation is not too confusing ...

regards,
