Stylus for Tablet Monitor Not Detecting Contact With Screen

Hey, guys, wondering if you could help me out with this.

So, just recently, I bought a Yiynova MSP19, which is basically a rebranded Waltop Tablet, and I am unable to get the stylus to register any contact with the screen. When the stylus hovers over the screen, the mouse follows, so the tracking is alright. Here's my "xsetwacom list" output:

WALTOP Tablet stylus	id: 8 type: STYLUS
WALTOP Tablet eraser	id: 11	type: ERASER
WALTOP Tablet pad id: 12	type: PAD

And my "lsusb":

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 172f:0052 Waltop International Corp.
Bus 005 Device 002: ID 046d:c517 Logitech, Inc. LX710 Cordless Desktop Laser
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 005 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 006 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub
Bus 007 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001 Linux Foundation 1.1 root hub

I am currently using the "xf86-input-wacom" driver. Any and all help would be appreciated!

Is there no soul out there willing to help this poor ol' beggar? I've been trying to figure it out, and nothing is coming to fruition. You all are my last hope.
