Where is libmng.la?

libtool: link: `/usr/lib/libmng.la' is not a valid libtool archive

[root@zonkey cegui]# pacman -Ql libmng
libmng /usr/
libmng /usr/include/
libmng /usr/include/libmng.h
libmng /usr/include/libmng_conf.h
libmng /usr/include/libmng_types.h
libmng /usr/lib/
libmng /usr/lib/libmng.a
libmng /usr/lib/libmng.so
libmng /usr/lib/libmng.so.1
libmng /usr/lib/libmng.so.1.1.0.9

And that package is from current, not a chance for instability there. I should probably add that I originally had this problem with libtiff as well, but after building my own from /var/abs/lib/libtiff the libtiff.la appeared.

Re: Where is libmng.la?

That error is probably due to operation libtool-slay.  Check this thread for a solution:

Re: Where is libmng.la?

libmng never had a .la on archlinux AFAIK, at least, not the versions I've seen.

look on your system for .la files that reference libmng.la and delete those files (unless they're part of kde, then you have to edit those files).

When you say "edit those files", i must to delete the lines that appear the .la reference in the "dependendency libs" line, leaving blank or no?
