xf86-video-nouveau complete crash

So i installed xf86-video-nouveau using "pacman -S xf86-video-nouveau"....
and my system completely crashed.... my whole screen went blank and eventually it goes like this: http://i1221.photobucket.com/albums/dd4 … 1343336151
I can't issue any commands, the whole system is rendered unusable...
An interesting thing is, when I run gparted and try and use it's graphical interface, I get the exact same screen. If i choose to use the command line interface, everything is fine and dandy.
My system specs are:
Asus G51J series
i7-720
nvidia geforce gts 360M.
(i suspect you only really need my graphics card....)

Re: xf86-video-nouveau complete crash

So what's your question? Are you trying to remove nouveau?

Which kernel version are you using?

Sakura:-
Mobo: MSI MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX // Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @4.9GHz // GFX: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT // RAM: 32GB (4x 8GB) Corsair DDR4 (@ 3000MHz) // Storage: 1x 3TB HDD, 6x 1TB SSD, 2x 120GB SSD, 1x 275GB M2 SSD

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.
