Hello folks. So, cmus had been working fine until about 2 weeks ago. As of lately though it seems to be losing control of the playback thread entirely. I can select a song to play, but I can't seek, pause, stop, change song, heck... not even the time counter at the bottom of the window works. Recompiling from the ABS does not fix the issue, nor does any combination of config tweaks, rm -rf ~/.cmus, anything I've tried. It's not a corrupt file as all these files worked great until this started happening.
Anyone else having issues with cmus or is it just me?
Edit: running cmus-2.4.3-2 from community if it matters. The playback failures happen with both FLAC and M4A files.

Yes and no. Mostly no. I have the ability to move around in the interface while things are playing, just can't do anything that messes with playback (it actually registers the keypress, but doesn't DO it until the player thread responds which would, of course, be when it ends at the end of the song). Also, as I said, rm -rf'ing .cmus doesn't fix it as it did for him.

No problems with cmus here.
