[SOLVED] Installing Wine: error: target not found: wine

Hello, new Arch Linux user here.

Either I am doing something wrong, or some thing is wrong with the installation.

Each time I try invoking 'pacman -S wine' the error I stated in the title returns.

I am using x86_64 Arch Linux. Is there something I am forgetting? It's quite possible that I did not setup Arch for multilib properly.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you enable multilib since you are using a 64-Bit machine as stated in the wiki?.

quoted for emphasis.

As it turns out, multilib was in fact not configured correctly. Fixing it at the moment. Well I hope so.
