[SOLVED] What's new in initscripts, iana-etc ?

Today I updated my system, and I got three pacnew:
/etc/protocols
/etc/services
/etc/rc.conf

I made a diff of the three with the current files, and I found first that protocols is much more slimmer, and other stuff.. should I replace them? is there a benefit to it? please explain!

I only had rc.conf.pacnew, which clearly states that some stuff has been moved to various other config files, as described in `man archlinux` (which again refers to other man pages, so it takes a little work, but it's not too hard to figure out and somebody might add an announcement or wiki page soon to help lazy users).

It should be safe to replace /etc/protocols and /etc/services: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=145873
