udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Hello

Recently my computer shows the messages below when I boot it but searching for these messages didn't give any results (see below). Does anybody know what is causing them? Additionally I noticed random segfaults, especially browsers,  and even system crashes after the installation of the new glibc. The system is a HP Elitebook 8460p with an i7, 16GB RAM and 240GB intel SSD(SSDSC2CW24).
The computer is running the latest kernel:

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Do you have sysfs mounted at start? See if there is anything inside /sys dircetory.

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

I'd be more interested in what's in /etc/udev/rules.d ...

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Then start looking at who owns the rules in /usr/lib/udev/rules.d.

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Those are all owned by root, a few with only read access but that should be fine.

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

I was referring to the packages which own the rules...

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Problem still exists

I guess those are the ones that are interesting
78-sound-card.rules is owned by systemd
80-drivers.rules is owned by systemd

Re: udevd erros on boot plus random segfaults and system crashes

Not interesting at all. The interesting files would be those NOT owned by systems, and especially those owned by no package at all.
