(Unsolvable) Flash: Fullscreen "freezes" keyboard-input

Hi everyone,
I recently migrated to arch. (...and am pretty sure, I'm staying smile ) But I encountered a bit of a problem with the flashplugin:
Whenever play a video in fullscreen and play a video, the player seems to not recognize any input(key or mouse), once the player-UI fades away!
While the player-UI is on the screen, the player responds, but once it's away, the player does not respond, until the video is over... Sometimes, when I pressed esc early in the video, the player actually responds to the key and leaves the fullscreen-mode about 10 seconds before the video ends.
The player does not have the problem, if you are in fullscreen with the video paused, or when the video is running not in fullscreen(with the same quality settings)
I am running a x86_64-arch with an onboard Intel-HD-graphic card and using the latest firefox and flashplugin from the official repositories, also I use awesome as my window manager, if that is any factor.

Thank you in advance for any advance.

PS please don't recommend switching gnash. I tried and it performed awful on my system, next-to-slideshow quality. So this is not an option.

Hello, I've tried to see a video on youtube with fullscreen using flashplugin, and it worked fine in a x86_64 machine with fluxbox.

Could you try in another window manager? to see if it is awesomewm's fault?

And please, tell me if it worked in another wm.

Hi using_GNU,
thanks for answering. I just tried out fluxbox (didn't change any configs) and tried to open a youtube video in fullscreen-mode. Same problem...  doesn't look like it's only awesome's fault.
Do you use the flashplugin from the repositories?

As I looked into related topics on flash in this forum, I am more and more suspicious that my problem is just a slight variation on the performance problem with flash in general. I don't believe that a real fix can be found for my problem any soon! (until flash is fixed/gone...)
