Hi, I have some problems, maybe related to udev or kernel upgrade:
1) booting the system alternately my ethernet device is not recognised, after Starting udev daemon the message "[ 13.616004] mei: Init hw failure. [ 13.616277] mei: Driver initialization failed." appears.
2) if I suspend through kde the system seems to resume flawlessly but some seconds after it reboots suddenly, without any message. I have an nvidia card. If I suspend through pm-suspend command it freezes with a black screen.
here is my lspci:

Now everything works fine, I switched to systemd, in /etc/mkinitcpio.conf hooks are HOOKS="base udev pata scsi sata usb filesystems", in /etc/default/grub first lines are:
GRUB_DEFAULT=0
GRUB_TIMEOUT=5
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR="Arch"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="init=/bin/systemd"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="resume=/dev/sda1"
this is the output of pacman -Qm:
downgrade 3.0-1
gogoc 1.2-13
kdesdk-kdeaccounts-plugin 4.8.4-1
kdesdk-kdepalettes 4.8.4-1
package-query 1.0.1-1
playonlinux 4.1.3-1
rar 4.1.1-1
samsung-unified-driver 4.00.35-2
yaourt 1.1-1
and /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf:
blacklist pcspkr
blacklist mei
I think by changing hooks in mkinitcpio.conf we have sorted the problem out.
