If I press the print screen in Gnome 3, the screen flashes to white (presumably indicating that it's taking a screenshot), but no screenshot seems to be taken. I checked my ~/Desktop directory, ~/Pictures directory, and clipboard, and it's in none of those.
I also tried from the terminal using the `gnome-screenshot` command, and it behaves the same. There are no error messages in the terminal.
Does anyone know what's wrong and/or how to fix it?

Similar problem here. If i launch gnome-screenshot from the activity-menu, it works, otherwise not.

I had this problem as well, but when I ran it as sudo, it worked.
So I'm guessing it's saving in a folder that has no permissions for.

Same here. The activity menu launches it with `gnome-screenshot --interactive`, which also works fine from the terminal.

When you run it with `sudo`, where does it save to? The directory I expect it to save to (~/Pictures) has the correct permissions.

Figured it out. In `dconf-editor`, change both org.gnome.gnome-screenshot.auto-save-directory and org.gnome.gnome-screenshot.last-save-directory to file:///home/[username]/Pictures

Cool, works.
Thanks for the solution.
