Hi!
I just began to have this weird problem. Enytime Amarok is jumping to the next song (and it - the next song - is then highlighted, shown in the window title bar etc) it keeps playing the previous one. It's not the matter of "Repeat track" option or anythink like that, so what can it be? Cmus for egzample doesn't have this problem.
Any ideas?
I've tried using different Qt player (YaRock) and it has the same problem. Does anyone else have this kind of behavior on his PC?

same here, plays the same song but the playlist advances.

downgrade of phonon-getreamer to 4.6.0-1 solved the issue
phonon-gstreamer-4.6.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

it seems we are not the only ones:

So I'm not the only one? Here I was thinking I messed something up. At first I even thought it was my imagination ("Did I just listen to this song or did the playlist loop?").

I was having this problem too. The fix suggested by muc.waldek worked.

Switching the phonon backend to phonon-vlc instead of gstreamer also works (for me).

Same problem here with phonon-gstreamer 4.6.1-1. Choosing phonon-vlc backend helps, but then Amarok doesn't have an EQ.

Phonon-gstreamer-git in AUR is also fixed

It's a known bug/regression in phonon-gstreamer.
All of the above fixes work therefore around it effectively (downgrade, change to phonon-VLC or phonon-git).
