[SOLVED]USB not listed in /dev

Hi, I've been experiencing some troubles mounting USB and SD cards in my computer. Automounting is not working, but when I try to mount manually, anything is listed in my /dev, at least nothing I can mount (sda1,2,4,5, sdb, sdc, sde, sdf are listed, but sda is my hdd). I also tried pacman -Syu, but everything is updated.
Thanks.

Have your rebooted since the last kernel update?

Was this working for those usb devices previously?

Re: [SOLVED]USB not listed in /dev

Yes, I always reboot after -Syu. And no, automounting never worked, however I never tried to plug any usb, since this is a clean installation on a new computer...But trying out another device automounting worked, maybe I should format? I thought it was a problem with my configuration, my apologies.
[EDIT] After a format using a LiveCD everything works fine. I'll be more careful next time. Thanks.

What dmesg has to say about your devices ?
