Annoying FPS drop

Hello, I have a very annoying problem that seems to happen when playing games...Everything will freeze up all the time, like a micro freeze or something constantly. It makes games very annoying to play, it happens with minecraft, Warzone 2100, and pretty much anything using open gl. At first I thought it was because I was overheating,(I overclock a lot) So I put my speeds at default and the tempature stays nice, but the issue still presist. If it helps, im using the Nvidia 304.32 driver...I have a GeForce GT 24. Anyone have this problem? Any ideas? Thanks. Im not sure if its realated but I use Xfce...

Re: Annoying FPS drop

I found out my problem. When I disabled composite it greatly helped, but the freezes still presisted. So then I ran my games in window mode, to see if that helped. Then I switched my Desktop manager to enlightament, which worked! all freezes gone. So then I realized that when I ran Xfce, the mini freezes happend all the time, not even in games. Then I noticed, everytime conky updated its sensor readout, it made a mini freeze. So I removed conky and all is good now. I did not expect conky to be the problem, which makes me sad, because I liked conky sad.

Re: Annoying FPS drop

You could try to determine which sensor has this problem.
